The QUARTZ-COMPACT-UMTS router is an ultra compact, high speed industrial router designed for transferring large amounts of data via the cellular network. The QUARTZ-COMPACT-UMTS fast data transfer capability reaches up to 21Mbps download and up to 5.76Mbps upload speed. It also has fallback to 2.5G communication should 3G/ UMTS be unavailable. It is well suited for IoT/mobile broadband applications, offering reliable, secure wireless connectivity.

The QUARTZ-COMPACT-UMTS router is a robust design, coming in a ultra compact sized, metal enclosure, making it ideal for deployment in industrial embedded applications where space is at a premium. Cellular coverage is designed to match European frequencies. The QUARTZ-COMPACT-UMTS software means VPN security is supported, allowing the router to be used in commercial as well as industrial applications.

The QUARTZ-COMPACT-UMTS router meets many of the needs for management of remote communication and therefore has applications in security, digital signage, CCTV, vending, street furniture, traffic control, telemetry, parking systems & environmental monitoring.

The QUARTZ-COMPACT-UMTS router comes equipped with a single SIM slot, single 10/100 ethernet LAN port and a serial port. Setting up the router is quick and easy – simply insert your SIM card and connect the antennas. Power up the router and connect to the internet by entering the correct APN settings in the web interface. The router will then connect and provide high speed 3G mobile broadband internet.
